Yes. For example, a user logged into a Sun opens an xterm window on Sequent A, uses runform30 on Sequent A to connect to Sequents B, C or D. The Oracle installation on machine A (client) need only provide a working set of Oracle tools and sqlnet connections to machines B, C, D (servers).   Or runform30 on a PC (client) connects to a database on a Vax (server).
