If you can compile perl4.0.36 then Oraperl v2.4 should be usable. Check out your nearest CPAN site or http://www.perl.com.
Note that you will have to use v2.4 and not the newer Oraperl.pm perl module as you are trying to access a v6 RDBMS amd the module only work for v7. v2.4 is a patch you run against the perl4.0.36 source code and then compile to produce an Oraperl executable.
