Other than the obvious cases - complex manipulation, when'ing, etc -
what criteria does one use to weigh short-n-swift Pro*C programs vs
quick-n-simple SQLPlus unix scripts when the case is something like drop
all keys, or create indexes, or a fairly trivial cursor???? you know,
when the issue is not writing the code itself. What do you look at?? time,
of course, but what and where do other issues play in the mix like
security, maintainability, login/password hiding, etc??
I am sure this question hits us all sometime, so what's yer 2-pennies
worth on how you flipped the coin?? thanxabunch
