One of my overnight applications developed using PRO*C is crashing out with a message. ORA-01000 - maximum open cursors exceeded. If increased the open_cursors parameter to 300 and at compelation increased the open_cursors parameter, but consistantly get this error message. There are 7 cursors in the program which are all explicitly closed after use, and non are recursively opened.
I am at a lost to what is causing this problem, can anyone help. Has anyone encountered this problem, if so what was the solution.
