Connecting a 16-Bit Client to an Oracle NT Server on the same machine

Hi all,

when I try to connect a 16-Bit Windows application to an Oracle 7.2 NT Server while both are running on the same machine the connection take a long time. TNSPING takes about 4 seconds to connect to the server.

When I start the same program on another machine everything works fine. What can I do?
