If you can help me and have experience at this, then this is an opportunity.
If you know about this type of success story, I'd much appreciate your knowledge.

Has anyone out there actually implemented a true three-tier client/server
environment like the State of Massachusetts is trying? Attributes of the
system are:

  • messaging middleware integrated with application development environment
  • Powerful UNIX servers
  • No VBX or Delphi or Powerbuilder, Uses an industrial strength OO environment (OOA and OOD and construction) that can not be currently named
  • Oracle DBMS (any RDBMS will do)
  • Over 1000 users, geographically dispersed
  • And last, but certainly not least, distributed data that can be updated from any of 40 locations that must maintain real-time integrity?

Emails to mconfoy_at_shore.net are preferred, but posting will do. Received on Sun Sep 01 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
