Everything I've seen in the press suggests it will be OO. My guess is that upgrading from v7.x to v8 will be a NIGHTMARE, and thus, Oracle and their consultants will cash in BIG TIME on this.

All that proprietary stuff written in PL/SQL, and dev2000 will need an overhaul. Better still - throw it out and use a real (non-proprietary) system (OK, bring on the flames - guess I really am asking for it!). :-) :-) :-)
