It is my understanding there is a daemon process that tidies up such useless processes. This can take up to 15 minutes to show effect. Sometimes this is no good however because the process has locked tables. I dont know how to identify the specific rogue pid. In a development environment we got all other developers to log off and the re,aining one was the culprit. A better solution is bound to be available
