Requirements: min 5yrs DBA exp with Oracle version 6 or 7(preferred). Qualified candidate should have exp working in a UNIX environment on a SUN platform, will consider other flavors of UNIX. Will be responsible for day to day activities such as back up, scripting, performance tuning, redefining threshholds. Will perform proactive maintenance. Will be responsible for client databases up to 40, using remote and on-site managment procedures and practices. On-site mgmt will involve travel and will be based upon client needs.
