  • Can a button label have a newline character allowing for mult-line labels?
  • Can the scroll bars of a window (not the MDI Window) be controlled programmaticly? For example, is it possible to dynamically turn on/off the horizontal and vertical scroll bars of the ROOT_WINDOW of the form.
  • Must you create a form from scratch in order to have db constraints brought up to the form automatically?
  • If you create a form from scratch and change constraints at the db level, will those changes be brought up to the form automatically when the form is generated?
  • What is the general opinion about using Sergei Kuchin's Oracle SQL Class Library?
  • We have a "Stored Queries" requirement in which the users must be able to save SQL queries that they create so that they may be executed later by whomever may need to use them. What might be some of the concerns to the design of having the queries stored on the server (either as NT files or directly within the database) and executed from the client?
  • The forms reference manual recommends building a "dummy" form having a main menu form which you can gain access to the system. Is it possible to create this "dummy" form without any items?
  • What are the pros and cons of having a single form that contains, for example, all of the named visual attributes and property classes that are referenced by every other form in the system as opposed to having each named visual attribute and property class within each form in the system?
  • How expensive is PVCS by Intersolv?
