OS and Server help

I need advice on which operating system and server config will give me optimum performance from Oracle. My current plans are to install on a NetFrame 8420 server, 64MB RAM, Netware 3.12. 40-60 concurrent users.

I am a new user of Oracle, just finished a week long intro class. During the class the only OS's that were frequently mentioned were UNIX and Window NT, because of this I have begun to second guess my decision.
