E-mail from Oracle - Windows NT - can anyone help?

We have Oracle 7.2 running under Windows NT for a customer accounting application. I'm developing an add-on to this that would allow our reps, using a client application built in Power Objects, to select a list of users from the database according to certain criteria, then send them an Email message.

I can probably hack this the hard way, but thought I'd ask the collective intellect and experience here if anyone knows of an NT software package that will act as an "add on" to Oracle that can do this sort of thing.

Failing that, any other suggestions on how to get this thing functioning reliably within a finite time span would be appreciated.
