SQLNET 2.3 dynamic discovery with NAMES

Has anybody sucessfully used the dynamic discovery option in ORACLE NAMES? I can't seem to get it to work when I remove the TNSNAMES.ORA file, which I think is not supposed to be necessary with dynamic discovery.
The first server I am working with is SQL*NET 7.3 for novell, and my second one is SQL*NET 7.3 beta for NT. Received on Wed Jul 31 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
