Application architecture/design

Hello,

We are looking for studies on application architecture in an client-server environment. Not on a technical system basis but from the application point of view:
- user groups and GUI styles for different groups;

• application lay-out;
• where to put our business rule and code (client-middel-server);
• how to lay-out different function clusters;
• etc.
