The ORACLE Hotline in Germany told me, there is a patch of HP PHSS_7131 for Motif 1.2.5. Up to now I could not check this.

The solution for the core dumps is very simple but angry. We use an own script to set the database environment. If we switch between local and remote databases ORACLE_SID resp. TWO_TASK are set to an empty string. All previous versions of svrmgr (sqldba,sqlplus) can work with TWO_TASK="". The V 7.3.2.1 version of svrmgr[l/m] gives the core dump. Now we use unset/unsetenv in our script. Kind regards. Ekkehard
