I dont know why my earlier post got to a wrong place...

Anyway...

here is the situation..

One machine is at australia running 7.1.6 on aix and this IBM machine running DB2 is in USA along with the oracle gateway which runs here as well.Sqlnet 2.1.4 is being used. What happens is , an sqlplus session from australia connects to the DB2 fetching data thru this gateway. Its ok for some time connects and fetches records but strangely after a while the listener process on the the box where the gateway is also installed gets killed.
So we haveto start this listener again. There's no clue why this listener processis dying. The log also does not give much info. Also tried to start the listener with nohup (nohup lsnrctl start) but did not help.Same results.
The errors iam getting is like ORA9101 ORA-9199. Did someone out there experience this kind of a thing ? If u do have any ideas please reply and mail me as well.

Thanks

Mohan
