    You are right, the expire time was left at the default value by the installer. The value is 2147483647, which I assume is 2147.483647 years using Oracle's internal julian date, therefor infinity.

    What would be a reasonable value, and must it be in the julian date format? How would I specify just a few minutes? Can connections be dropped inadvertently if the value is too low?
