In would be interested to hear from anyone on the newsgroup who has experience of Oracle porforming _well_ as a VLDB Database Engine on MVS. I am not saying that this is not a possibility only that we are having problems getting this level of performance at present and would appreciate any pointers in the right direction. Please see the separate thread regarding performance of Oracle on MVS in this same newsgroup for details of our problems.....
