UPS Truck Leasing, a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS, is recruiting a
skilled Oracle DBA having experience with Oracle financial applications in
an HPUX environment. The ideal candidate has 3 - 5 years experience in
the following areas:
Administering Oracle Database and UNIX (HPUX)
Oracle Financial Applications knowledge
RDBMS sizing, performance tuning
Capacity planning using HP GlancePlus and Perf RX
System configurations and tuning
Ability to analyze and resolve RDBMS malfunctions
System online back-ups and recovery
Report queries and report writing with SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL*Report,
SQL*ReportWriter, UNIX
FORMS 2.3 programming a plus
Ability to assist in troubleshooting between database, LAN and WAN
Knowledgeable in database security management
Ability to upgrade HPUX, Oracle DB, Oracle Fin's.
Ability to work closely with end users
