To do Oracle online backups on an AlphaServer system running Digital UNIX you need the following:
- Polycenter Networker Save and Restore (the backup utility on Digital UNIX) [base func. included with most server systems]
- Oracle 'obackup' (aka Oracle Enterprise Backup Utility)
