SqlNet 2 IPX/SPX

I have been having many problems connecting from Windows client PCs to NT Oracle servers using SqlNet 2.1.4 IPX/SPX. I also have problems getting IPX/SPX listener services running on the NT server. A listener.ora files that works fine on one server won't work on another - same problem with tnsnames.ora. Both seem to work or not work depending on the type of network card.

Any ideas?
