Yes, it really is pretty important. Oracle have apparently announced that they will allow the server to return one row from a stored procedure in the next release. This still sucks. Microsoft SQL Server will return multiple multi-row recordsets without breaking a sweat. Although, the current ODBC drivers only support the first recordset returned. This is something that both Sybase and Microsoft have got right. What is Oracle thinking ?
