Despite Oracle publishing a technical bulletin on how to get rid of it (106573.421), I havent been able to get it to work - the rotten thing keeps re-appearing (I gave up) I was told by one Oracle consultant that you 'cant' get rid of it because it is manadated by the Windows standard.
