Steve,

Thanks for the response, it will help be better tune my db. I am in fact using the parallel query option. I will review by init.ora parameter for info regarding MTS, and parallel queries. By the way, my total real ram is 128M. I'm using a Sun Sparc 20 with 2cpu's.

Any more info is most appreciated.
