Problem with creating tablespace datafiles

Hello,
We updated from Oracle 7.1 to 7.2 (on SunOS 4.1.x) and now there's an
annoying problem. Users sys and system can no longer create new datafiles
for tablespaces. It worked fine before our upgrade. Has anyone else
experienced this problem? Could it be an OS-level permission problem or
do you think it's Oracle's fault?
