Hi all,
I am working with Oracle7 7.2.2.3.0 on Unix (IRIX 5.3). I have been developing Pro*C applications for over a year, but recently I decided to try some C++. The version of Pro*C that comes with 7.2.2.3.0 even installs some Pro*C C++ demo files in the $ORACLE_HOME/proc/demo directory. However, I have no idea how to comple them! Pro*C just dies when it encounters C++ code.
I have heard that there is a command line option to get Pro*C to generate C++ friendly code. However some FAQs that I have read seem to say that Pro*C will not do C++ code. Are they outdated?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can give,
Tom
