POSITION #: HSL960203 Hutchinson Smiley Limited has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Database Administrator with a strong ORACLE background with one of our clients. This position will involve the following activities:

• development of imformation databases under ORACLE for Data Warehousing and transaction modules.
• database development, tuning & optimization.
• migration of a number of database systems into a multi-dimensional, integrated database environment.

Position to begin ASAP and will have an expected salary range of $60K - $85K depending on experience.

Mandatory skills: minimum 5-6 years experience in DBA role, strong hands-on experience with ORACLE (V7/V6), practical experience with PL/SQL and SQL tools, solid experience with UNIX/HP3000 development environment, good communication skills, B.Sc. in Computer Science or Business.

Desirable skills: experience with Materials Management/Customer Order Management systems, knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, experience with IDMS-based legacy systems and GUPTA PC systems, ability to interact with exisiting legacy mainframe systems.
