I spoke with some Oracle reps after a big multimedia demonstration. The demo left you with the illusion that the MM was stored in the database. After further discussion, I found out that the data was stored in files that a database field referenced. Most of the MM files were to large for Oracle to handle efficiently.

As for storing MM, what is your environment? I have successfully used VIsual Basic 3.0 to grab files and store them in the database.
