Long SQL*Net connection times

Hi,
I am experiencing very long connect times to Oracle, via SLQ*Net from PC's. The connection time seems to depend on which TCP/IP stack is used. Win 3.11 PC's using FTP Software's winsock take about 2 seconds, using Win 3.11 with Microsoft's TCP/IP 32 1.1b or Win NT's TCP/IP take maybe a minute.
The server is running HP-UX 9, Oracle 7.22, SQL*Net 2.1, the PC's have SLQ*Net 2.1.4.1C.
Any ideas?
