A Qn on JDBC

Hi

        I have a project that requires me to link my Oracle DB with the WWW. I thought of using perl to implement the cgi scripts, until I came across an article on JDBC which is the Java version of ODBC.

        Does anyone know where I can obtain sufficient info on JDBC and whether its feasible to linkup the Oracle DB using JDBC ?

        Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
