limited query string

Hi, everybody.
I am working with the Oracle Webserver:

	Oracle Web Listener, Version 1.01fc5
	Copyright 1995 Oracle Corp.  All Rights Reserved.
and oracle rdbms:
	Oracle7 Server Release 7.1.6.2.0 - Production Release
	With the distributed, replication and parallel query options
	PL/SQL Release 2.1.6.2.0 - Production

I have noticed that the query string allows for a maximum of 24 fields, and the name of each field cannot exceed 28 characters in length. The first limitation is a problem for me. Does anyone among you know if there exists a solution?
