Granted this response may be a little late but...
I'm an Oracle consultant doing work on Alpha Open VMS systems right now. In all, about 95 of them all networked across the country.
To put it as nice as possible..THESE THINGS RIP!!! Excellent performance and easy tuning and maint.
FYI...Sometime in the Q1 of FY97, Oracle7 7.3.2 will be available for the Alpha platform.
