I am indian. If u think i am biased, then here is the truth.
I AM F......... BIASED AND I DONT GIVE A SHIT!
Anyway, indians are excellent programmers. Many companies hire indians
even though they do not have more than 7 days of experience, but more
often than not (< 0.000001), these people turn out better than other
programmers who have like 7 years of experience. As for the answer,
We pick up stuff fucking fast!! a la LASER! AND ON THE JOB TOO!
If i were the HRD at your company, I would have hired another twenty
indians with preferably less than 7 days of experience and give them all
the leaves they want, including "coming of age leave"! and then I would
watch them become excellent programmers in a few months.
let me tell u something,
If there is a human being who is excellent at arts, sciences, cooking,
astronomy, mechanical engineering, journalism, microbiology and
client-server technology, chances are that this being belongs to an ethnic
community called INDIANS!!!
finally, if these programmers do not turn out good, then u should blame
u'r luck.
But, it is worth a try isn't it?
