Jerry,

I curious which version(s) of Sybase you're using and on what platform(s). I've been working with Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server for over 5 years - MS SQL Server 1.01 on OS/2 up to System IX on NT, HP-UX, AIX, SCO, Solaris & SunOS and I've yet to see it "ignore commands to switch db's".

Plus I'm curious about the corruptions you've been encountering.

I apologize if you already went though all this but I've just come to this piece of the message thread.
