Oracle 7 on Windows NT or Solaris x86

I'm currently researching performance issues with Oracle 7 on Solaris x86 vs. Windows NT. Is anyone out there using Oracle 7 either platform? If so, I'd appreciate any information regarding your number of users, server configuration (CPU, RAM), database size, limitations, and whether you are primarily processing transactions or analyzing data.
