Forms45:porting issues between Windows & PowerMac

Anyone out there done any porting of Forms45 applications? I have been finding that taking a form generated in Windows or Solaris and then regenerating on a PowerMac looks terrible! Is this the norm? Is there a style guide that goes down to the least common denominator for all three windowing API's? Problems / Observations I have noticed:

Buttons, fonts, menus & pathing problems...

If anyone has gone down any of these paths, then please comment. Thanks in advance,
