ORACLE 7.3 DBA training - which is the best?

Hi:

In the current project, I need to start administring a database in addition to development. I would like to know from the netters what is the best way to get on DBA role? I am reading some of the manuals, but it is taking a lot of time.

I wanted to know how is ORACLE training for DBA (five days one). Are there other DBA training classes in Bay area? If you know and you liked it, please let me know.
