It depends on what server you are using as to wether you get the GUI or have to wait eg.

VAX	few more months
NT	ditto
AIX	now most modules

Screen Scraper is more acurrate than "thin client" If you talk to Oracle themselves (assuming the "oracle consultants" were not oracle employees) they will be able to give you a satus on the expected GUI release of the client for your HP-UX Server.
