SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR / DBA #764 Our client is looking for a system administrator with 1-2 years of experience as a DBA or programmer interested in the DBA function. Prior experience with UNIX HP-UX, shell scripting, Oracle applications and Oracle is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Candidate should be adept at handling multiple projects and client requests. A self starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Will be supporting a team building a new Open Systems Environment form the ground up. Any experience with programming languages and Win 95 a plus! Foreign languages also a plus.
Major Responsibilities will include:
Sys. Admin. for Oracle Apps. and Database
Sys. Admin. for MS SQL Server
Provide support for Internet server
Support both UNIX and Windows NT operating systems
Support training sessions and Help Desk
Permanent position in Orange, CA
