I have extensive experience in connecting HTML forms to Oracle. I looked at Oracle's implementation and found that it did not support sufficiently the concept of streamed I/O which is very important in creating snappy page response.

After making system calls to SQLPlus, I advanced to Oraperl and have not looked back. I have some very elegant private WEB pages now to support various business networks.
