In Unix, that error is caused by not having an environmental variable set ORACLE_SID. This is set to the name of the Oracle Database. Don't know about Mac but it may be a similar problem. Hope that might lead you down the right path. Received on Fri Apr 05 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
