OPO: Initializing new row in repeater...

hi!

Perhaps this has been discussed before (apologies if so)...

The behaviour I want is to insert a new row and initialize some field values in a repeater when a user pushes a button.

The initialization values depend on which button was pushed. So, for example if button1 is pushed I want to see "Button1" in a whowaspushed string field and if button2 is pushed I want to see "Button2".

How can I do this? Any reference to a repeater control gives an error (can only be used in an aggregate function).

I thought I could change the control's default value before calling repeater.InsertRow() but same error. Same thing when trying to set values after the InsertRow call.

I have a feeling I saw something mentioned in some reference, but can't find anything now. Any pointers much appreciated.

Peter
