Web server uses pl/sql to create html pages on the fly..ie, the pl/sql actually builds what is HTML code to be viewed on the browser. As far as tracking users, its pretty much interfacing w/ the oracle database where you can track this type of info,..ie..all other users can access thru a generic or anonymous account.
