In this your right and for a good reason: when you'll install your application you won't install desginer2000 repository at your customer site (right ?).

the only tables that you need are CG_REF_CODES for allowble values lists ,the help table and the code-control table (you know that a prefernce can be used to have their name differ from one application to another ?)

so what I do, if I need the info is to COPY it into an application table and then use that table as part of my application. (I usualy have a table that explains the domain names)
