Pro*C, two-task and signals

Can anybody point me to a good description of how an Oracle two-task Pro*C program uses signals?

Does anyone know what must/may I do signal handling-wise in such a program?

I have a program which needs to use a SIGURG handler, but it seems sometimes that the Oracle "shadow task" is sending me a SIGURG, or sending me OOB data on one of its sockets. Anyway, things do not work so well when this happens.
