We use ORACLE 7 in NT.
First, sel a tcp/ip port for oracle listner in service. Then create listner.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files ( read the sql net v.2 manual about how to do that ) copy all 3 files above to orane\network\admin directory copy tnsnames.ora and seqnet.ora to client copy ( usually in orawin\network\admin)
modify oracle.ini file in windows or winnt35 directory. By the way, we tried about one week to make it work, it is not east indeed! Received on Tue Mar 26 1996 - 00:00:00 CET
