Well, Sakari, I use delete cascades where ever it makes since to maintain database referential integrity. I think it is extremely helpful. Only use it where it makes since, where related data becomes meaningless when its referenced data is deleted. Do not use it everywhere without considering the results. I do not know what Gerard is talking about. Good luck.
