To re-post what Keith Mcleod posted on OCSIG-L, there's a nice new DBA tool called Oracle Manager available on the CompuServe ORAUSER forum that would answer quite a few postings lately about seeing what tables you have.
It's in Forms 4.5 and requires 4.5.6 runtime (from Dev/2k V1.2 or Des/2k V1.2). Easy GUI access to all the major SYS.DBA_* views. tables by name or by tablespace; indexes by table or by tablespaces, errors, roles, users, etc.
File name is OM131.EXE in Library 5 in forum ORAUSER (computer). No need to use SQL*Plus!
