Designer/2000 Course Material Licensing Announced

Jeffrey Jacobs & Associates today announced a licensing program for its Designer/2000 course materials. Course notes and support will be offered to 3rd party training vendors and companies creating internal Designer/2000 instructional programs. "Train the trainer" services will also be offered.  

Two courses are currently offered, "Using Designer/2000 for Analysis, Design and Prototyping" and "Using Designer/2000 Generators". Each course consists of over 300 pages of lecture notes and lab exercises, with extensive screenshots and graphics. Materials are spiral bound on 8 ½" by 11" stock.  

The two courses are designed to be offered in sequence. The first course, "Using Designer/2000 for Analysis, Design and Prototyping", provides comprehensive training in the use of Designer/2000 Systems Modeller, Systems Designer and basic use of the Generators. This course enables teams to conduct the analysis and design phases of system development, with sufficient training in the generators to produce Forms, Reports and Menus for prototyping purposes.  

The second course, "Using Designer/2000 Generators", provides in-depth training on the Forms and Reports generators, reverse engineering and regeneration. It is normally taught approximately two months after the first course, as teams approach implementation.  

These courses were developed by Jeffrey M. Jacobs, one of the world’s leading experts on Oracle’s Designer/2000. The Designer/2000 courses were first delivered in July, 1995, and have consistently received outstanding reviews from students.
