basicly, the generator create drop-lists for columns based on CG_REF_CODES
(i.e., you defined a list of allowable values, not a foreign table)
if this is the case there is a preferance that tells the case to place a
push button next to the form-field so it looks like drop-list
(I don't remenber the name, look for it in the LOV preference group).
on the other hand, if this is a valid list remember to check OUT the "generate valid value" in the server-generator or check constraints in the table will ignore your changes to the list !!
